Eagles injury report for Week 7

There are no injury reports at the moment, but here are some key injuries to keep track of for the Eagles.

Jalen Hurts, QB (Calf - Blood Clot)

While everyone knows Hurts' blood clot story by now, it remains the most significant injury on the Eagles. He has been placed on IR and will miss the rest of the season with a blood clot from his calf injury that has traveled to his lungs. Hurts is expected to make a full recovery.

Saquon Barkley, RB (Hamstring)

After a string of running back moves, including Carson Steele going on IR, two running backs being waived or released, and Elijah Mitchell signing, Barkley might return this week. Barkley has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, so his return would be massive.

Jalyx Hunt, EDGE (Knee/Ankle)

Hunt missed Week 6 after suffering a knee and ankle injury in Week 5. He may be able to return for the Cowboys game, but he could still miss another week or two.

Landon Dickerson, OG (Knee)

Dickerson is on IR with a knee injury and hasn't played since Week 1. Last week, his 21-day practice window opened for the first time, and he could potentially return for the Cowboys game to start at left guard again.

Drew Kendall, C (Knee)

Kendall has missed the last two games with the knee injury, but was at least active for the Panthers game. With another week of rest, this week is looking better for him to start at center.

Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE (Concussion)

Smith suffered a concussion in the Panthers game. He will be going through protocol this week and with the extra day to recover, there is a decent shot for him to be back in the Cowboys contest.

Jordan Davis, DT (Ankle)

Davis left the Panthers game early with an ankle injury. He was just seen at a local Philly event where he seemed to be walking just fine. Hopefully that means he will be good to practice and play this week.

  • Malik Hooker, S (Forearm)
  • Dee Winters, LB (Achilles)

Top Eagles storylines for MNF matchup with Cowboys

Will Saquon Barkley return for the Eagles and help the running game?

The Eagles have ran for just 57 yards in the last two games without Barkley. This season, he is averaging 5.1 yards per carry, showing that this Eagles offense is better at running the football with Barkley on the field. Hopefully, he can return and if he does, that might help the running game get rolling again.

Tanner McKee's second start of 2026 is on Monday Night Football

McKee had an okay Week 6 start, as he didn't turn the ball over, but the offense continued to struggle like it has over the course of the season. With one start under him, the hope is that McKee feels better with targets like DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to have the passing game look better.

Eagles' secondary will be tested against the Cowboys' passing attack

Philly's secondary is foaming at the mouth to play this Cowboys passing offense that has struggled in the last two week. Dak Prescott has thrown for four interceptions in two games. Still, this Cowboys offense flows through the passing game, which is still one of the best in the NFL. It's on Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and Riq Woolen to slow it down.
