Another week, another game where the Philadelphia Eagles have to play without defensive tackle Jalen Carter and right tackle Lane Johnson.

The Eagles confirmed the news as they released the inactive list for the team's Week 15 showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders. In total, six players were included on that inactive list.

  • Joshua Uche, EDGE
  • Sam Howell, Third QB
  • Mac McWilliams, CB
  • A.J. Dillon, RB
  • Lane Johnson, RT
  • Jalen Carter, DT

Carter is missing his second straight game after getting a procedure done on his shoulders before the Week 14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Johnson is missing his fourth straight game with the foot injury, but looks poised to be back at practice before the Week 16 game against the Washington Commanders.

Eagles going to be out two star players against the Raiders

Fred Johnson has been filling in for Lane Johnson over the last three weeks at right tackle and will continue to do so against Las Vegas. The Eagles are 0-3 without Lane Johnson in the lineup this season.

With Carter out again, that will mean Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo will be starting at defensive tackles for the game. Byron Young and Ty Robinson could see some reps as well after the unit helped Philly sacked Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert seven times. Brandon Graham could get more looks at defensive tackle as well.

Uche once again is on the inactive list after seeing his playing time decrease to zero on defense and more snaps on special teams. Dillon has also become a regular on the inactive list as the Eagles are rolling with Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley as the backups at running back to Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles are out a couple of star players, but they should have enough talent to take down a bad Raiders team. Right?
