It certainly feels like anytime someone within the Philly sports world posts something, especially when it is someone on the Philadelphia Eagles, everyone loses their minds.

How many times were there stories about Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown every time he made a cryptic post on social media throughout last season? It appears that even now, with Brown set to be traded, the world is still watching Eagles players and their posts.

Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts made a post on X for the first time since October. It wasn't anything crazy; it was just a black-and-white image of him, where fans can barely see his face but can see his personal logo on his hat.

Everyone is trying to read too much into Jalen Hurts' post

One way everyone was trying to connect Hurts' post was that he made it shortly after the Brown news that he was likely being traded to the New England Patriots came out. Some were trying to read it as Hurts making some kind of statement about it.

In reality, it was probably more about the fact that Hurts and the Eagles had just started their offseason program. That post was probably just more connected to him showing the fans that he's ready to step on the field for a new year in Philly.

Hurts is coming off a year where he threw a career-high 25 touchdowns to just six interceptions, making his third Pro Bowl of his young career. He was criticized, though, as the Eagles made the playoffs at 11-6 despite having a bottom-10 offense in the NFL.

This offseason has just been relentless, with Hurts' criticisms coming from everywhere, all of which really started with a report from ESPN a few weeks ago. That article cited sources who slammed Hurts for his leadership, body language, and lack of coachability.
