People can say whatever they want to about Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, but the truth will always be revealed.
After an offseason filled with criticism and unnamed sources slamming Hurts, the three-time Pro Bowler got some help from his peers on the field. Hurts was ranked as the 56th-best player in the NFL by the players after being ranked 17th among quarterbacks, according to an ESPN survey of league personnel.
In testimonials for Hurts to be in the top 100, many of the players who spoke for him talked about his ability to make plays with his legs. Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Eric Kendricks had another thing to say about Hurts.

Hurts took a lot of criticism last year for his completion percentage dipping to 64.8% and his lack of aggressiveness to go down the field. He proved, though, that the six interceptions he threw and the 32 total touchdowns he scored last season helped his team win 11 games.
It's incredible (in a negative way) to see how much hate Hurts has gotten, but he has proven to be a winner and the reason why they win games. He has won over 68% of his starts, and in the one Super Bowl the Eagles won, he was the MVP and the reason they won after racking up 293 yards and three total touchdowns.
Yes, many would agree that Hurts has his negative aspects to his play. He can play a lot of times conservatively, and he showed at times that he wasn't always willing to run the football when scrambling out of the pocket.
The winning stat can't be denied, though, as he has never had a losing season as the main starting quarterback. He has taken the Eagles to the playoffs every season he was the full-time starter, and they have been to two Super Bowls.

Most quarterbacks would kill to have the kind of resume that Hurts has, but he has proven to be a one-of-a-kind player even if no one wants to admit it. Kendricks said the quiet part that Hurts' haters don't want to ever say, but he's a winner, and the Eagles owe it to him for that.
