Everyone is talking about the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator search and how it is not going well for them.

The Eagles fan base was hoping to have a coach in place, but after two weeks and multiple coaches withdrawing from the race, this search is becoming a hot sports topic. More questions are arising about whether any coach wants to take it at this point.

While appearing on the Speakeasy podcast, former Pro Bowl wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh
gave his thoughts on the Eagles' offensive coordinator opening. He doesn't see this job as being a desirable landing spot for any coach.

"Nobody wants that (Eagles OC) job. It's a thankless job, and you'll get blamed for everything. You )only) win nine games in Philly, you're getting fired."

Is the Eagles' OC job as bad as it is?

There are many who believe Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni's job is on the line, and that he could be out in 2026 if the team has another down season. Questions about Sirianni's job security might be steering candidates away from the job altogether.

Everyone is also bringing up the fact that coaches might not want to work with quarterback Jalen Hurts, with concerns about his play. There might also be some worried that Hurts won't want to run the ball often, as was reported in the middle of the season.

The other big questions about the Eagles' offense center on A.J. Brown: whether he will want to be traded or be okay staying in 2026. Also, what about Lane Johnson and his pending retirement decision? Will Johnson stick around for one more year, or will he call it quits after his serious foot injury from the season?

Unfortunately, these are the questions being discussed, with some legit and others flat-out unfair. Someone will eventually take this job. Hopefully, it's someone the fan base can get behind.
