There may not be a better home-field advantage in the NFL than wearing the midnight green uniforms in Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The Eagles fan base is filled with the league's loudest, most intense crew. They are certainly not afraid to tell you how they feel about any road team that comes into the building.
That will be a lesson the San Francisco 49ers will learn in the NFC Wild Card game. 49ers tight end George Kittle shared his thoughts on the Eagles fan base, and he feels about them.
“Every road team that goes in there, they hate us equally, and I appreciate that," Kittle said via SportsRadio 94 WIP. "They flip you off. They moon you on the bus ride in. It’s incredibly loud. But they do that to anybody. I appreciate that because you can tell how much they love their team.”
George Kittle pays his respects to Eagles fans
This isn't the first time that an opposing player has respected the passion Eagles fans show. Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby said the same thing when his team came into Philly to play the Eagles.
Most recently, FanSided named Philadelphia sports fans the Fandom of the Year winners for 2025. Everyone is starting to see past the loud noises Eagles fans make and see it as a compliment to them for being so rowdy at games and so caring about their team.
Sure, the fans might be obnoxious about the Eagles, but at least this fan base isn't delusional about them, unlike Dallas Cowboys fans. When the Eagles are bad, the fans let them know, and when they are good, they will sing their praises.

San Francisco is not going to have an easy time in Philadelphia, and Kittle understands that better than anyone.
