Giants homer misses wildly with abhorrent Eagles and Saquon Barkley takes

You won't believe what a Giants homer said about Saquon Barkley and the Eagles organization that signed him.

Before we say or type another word, let's begin by stating the following. We have ALWAYS hated the New York Giants. It's kind of a birthright that comes with being a Philadelphia Eagles fan. There was, however, when we at least respected them. That's no longer the case.

You can't base your entire theory of an NFL team by what you watch on Hard Knocks, but let's be honest. Watching Big Blue on the highly-popular HBO series made us appreciate Philly's leadership structure more than we already did.

We'll say what you're thinking. The New York Giants are clueless. They're Gotham's version of the lowly Carolina Panthers, but we're indebted to them because their ignorance helped the Eagles land Saquon Barkley.

Tell the truth. If you had never watched this game before this season, would you see a difference in either franchise?

Giants homer makes us thank our lucky stars that we're Eagles enthusiasts.

Sometimes, you read something, and it's so off base that you wonder if the author was inebriated. Many of you know Shaun Morash from New York's WFAN 660, Evan and Tiki, and Big Blue Kickoff Live. You may want to forget him after you read his latest take.

You're sitting down, right?

That's so bad... No, truly... That's awful. It's almost as if he said something he knows is incorrect and did so because it was the only hope he had to get people talking about something he was thinking.

People use the term click bait, and it has a negative connotation, but there is responsible and irresponsible click bait. This falls under the umbrella of the latter.

We went to bed watching a clip of Eagles fans at Lincoln Financial Field chanting "Thank you, Giants" during Saquon Barkley's postgame interview on the Amazon Prime broadcast.

Correct us if we're wrong, but we haven't heard Giants fans chant the names of any of their running backs all seasn, and why would they? One of the greatest talents they've had of the past 20 seasons is a former Penn State star who plays for a Giants rival that New York CAN'T BEAT.

Sorry Big Blue! We'll see you guys at the finish line. Wait... That's not true. Your team won't be there.
