A half-dozen Rams defenders worth highlighting vs. the Eagles' offensive stars

Kellen Moore and his Eagles offensive unit has, no doubt, discussed these guys.

Like the City of Brotherly Love, the Philadelphia Eagles' home base, Los Angeles is a land with many nicknames. The City of Angels... The entertainment capital of the world... Tinseltown...

All of that will play itself out on the NFL stage during the Birds' next game, one versus the Rams.

There are stars on both sidelines. The primetime lights will shine brightly.

Most importantly, Philly is hoping victory is delivered on the wings of some Eagles (and maybe some of those angels).

The Rams aren't just about offense. They have some ballers on the defensive side of the ball too.

Sean McVay is L.A.'s head coach. His defensive coordinator is Chris Shula. This is the latter's eighth season with the Rams and his first in his current position.

He has plenty of talent to work with.

Quentin Lake & Kamren Curl - safeties

Quentin Lake and former Commander Kamren Curl are they safeties, and they're a pair of playmakers in the Rams' defensive secondary. So far this season, they have combined for 130 total tackles, two sacks, five pass breakups, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a defensive TD.

Christian Rozeboom -linebacker

Christian Rozeboom ranks second on this team in both total tackles (79) and those of the solo variety (39). He has also racked up three pass breakups and an interception. Watch out for him.

Kobie Turner - defensive tackle

Kobie Turner clogs the middle playing along the interior of the Rams' D-line. 47 tackles, five sacks, seven TFLs, three pass breakups, and forced fumble highlight his 2024 regular-season resume.

Byron Young - linebacker

Byron Young isn't quite a household name, but he's pretty darn close to being one. If Philly isn't careful, he can be after this game.

He has collected 37 tackles, six sacks, and a forced fumble so far this season. Keep an eye on the guy in the Number 0 jersey.

Jared Verse - linebacker

If Quinyon Mitchell doesn't win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Jared Verse will probably be the reason why he didn't. Verse currently has the best odds of winning the award having already notched 42 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles on the season. Philly can't let him go off.

Worth mentioning: Braden Fiske

From one Rams rookie to another. We couldn't leave here without mentioning Braden Fiske. He and Verse were teammates at Florida State, and the former Seminoles have reunited in Los Angeles.

So far this season, Fiske has tallied 29, tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles.
