We've seen enough. We insist the City of Brotherly Love build a statue for the Philadelphia Eagles' vice president and general manager. We don't care where it's placed. Put it next to Rocky at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Place it next to the Philly Special statue at Lincoln Financial Field. All we know is Howie Roseman deserves one. Who's been better at their job than him?
Hired as a front office intern in 2000, he has climbed the ladder to become a legend. Recently, at the NFL Combine, his former teacher, Andy Reid, complimented him. Later, he took the podium as well.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman answers the Zack Baun question (sort of).
Howie Roseman, Nick Sirianni, and the Eagles are in Indianapolis for the 2025 NFL Combine. Both spoke to the media. Most of us already knew most of the questions they'd be asked, so let's skip to the portion we all care about... the disgruntled Myles Garrett and impending free agent Zack Baun.
As expected, he offered some clarity on Zack Baun without giving away too much. By rule, he's unable to make any statements about Myles Garrett.

When asked about trading for Myles Garrett, Howie Roseman said there isn’t a player the Eagles won’t study and look into. There’s a lot of buzz from the NFL

This isn't the first time that Howie has been asked about Myles Garrett. His answer to the earlier question was almost identical to the most recent. By rule, he isn't allowed to comment on players who are under contract with another team.
Garrett has stated publicly he wouldn't be opposed to joining the Eagles. The only way a deal happens is if the Cleveland Browns are willing to trade him, and so far, they have expressed they're disinterested in doing so.
As far as Zack Baun's possible extension, there's some concern because even though most see him as a priority signing. Philly's business model suggests historically that they don't pay linebackers. But, we said the same thing about the tailback position when we thought adding Saquon Barkley was impossible. Adding Saquon turned out to be one of the best moves in the organization's history.
As Howie states, he's forever evolving. We'll see what happens with backing the Brinks truck up for Zack Baun. We'd lean toward him staying at home, but no one truly knows if that will happen until we see it happen.
