They might need to go.

While many are still processing the Cam Jurgens trade, the Philadelphia Eagles have made it clear they would consider any trade with the right offer.

The best part about the Jurgens trade is that the Eagles got a 2028 second-round pick for a center/guard who has struggled to stay healthy and perform consistently at a high level. This clearly shows how Eagles general manager Howie Roseman fleeced Baltimore.

Opinions are split about whether this trade signaled the Eagles punting on the season or simply accepting a too-good-to-be-true deal. Roseman might have five other players they should consider trading, and they could get great compensation without completely folding on the 2026 season or the future.

Eagles players who should be on the trade block after the Cam Jurgens trade

Landon Dickerson, LG

The regression has been at the same alarming pace Jurgens showed over the last year. Dickerson played through injuries last year, which led to poor results, but 2026 started even worse.

In the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Washington Commanders, Dickerson earned a Pro Football Focus grade of 37.6, allowing four pressures and a sack on 35 pass-blocking snaps, and was called for one penalty. After that, he went on IR with a knee injury, but speculation is that the Eagles "soft benching" him and told him to pick an injury to sit out for a bit.

Dickerson was a two-time Pro Bowler who did great things for the Eagles, but he hasn't been the same over the last year. The Eagles could 100% get some good compensation for him in a trade.

Best-Case Scenario Trade Compensation: third or fourth round pick

Dallas Goedert, TE

Goedert has always been injury-prone, missing 19 games since 2022. That trend continued this year, with two games already missed this season.

Last season was a great year for Goedert, breaking the franchise record for touchdown catches by a tight end in one season with 11. When he is 100% healthy, he is a borderline top-10 tight end.

He's only on a one-year contract, so it doesn't make sense to keep him around if ther are no plans to bring back an injury-prone tight end. Get something out of him in a trade, and with the season the way it is, they might as well throw rookie second-round pick Eli Stowers out there and see what they have in him.

Best-Case Scenario Trade Compensation: fourth-round pick

Moro Ojomo, DT

Here's another player about to become a free agent, so there may be no point in keeping Ojomo around. He's been great for the Eagles over the last two years, taking on a bigger role as a starter on the defensive line.

This season, Ojomo has 12 quarterback pressures and 10 hurries from the defensive line spot. He matches his 2026 pass-rushing defensive tackle and Jalen Carter's numbers.

The Eagles have plenty of talent behind Ojomo, though, with Ty Robinson and Byron Young ready to take bigger roles. Might as well get something out of Ojomo, who is young and talented, and use the draft to find his replacement.

Best-Case Scenario Trade Compensation: third-round pick

Nolan Smith Jr., EDGE

Smith faced heavy pressure to improve after his three sacks and a triceps injury in 2025, and he answered the call. After the Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Smith now leads the team with two sacks. He also has nine pressures and seven hurries this year.

Smith has two years left on his contract, and it's cheap for any team to bring in a young, improving edge rusher who can start. It might be hard to ignore offers for Smith, especially if they want to roll with Jalyx Hunt as the starter off the edge, with Jonathan Greenard as the future starter.

Best-Case Scenario Trade Compensation: third-round pick

Saquon Barkley, RB

Of course, it would be wild to trade Barkley away, right? He's already missed half the season with two different injuries and has regressed over the last year with the Eagles. He has had two games with at least 80 yards, but two other games with under 10 rushing yards.

At this point, the Eagles' running game has not been great, with or without Barkley, and Will Shipley or Dameon Pierce could prove themselves in the backfield. Barkley is an Eagles legend after just two years, but with the right trade, moving on from him doesn't seem like a bad idea for a 29-year-old running back.
