Sometimes, with Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, fans are better off not questioning his moves, but this one might be worth a hand raise from the crowd.
NFL reporter Aaron Wilson was told by a source that Roseman apparently made a call to former Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce about signing with the Eagles. Wilson added that Roseman had previously called the Texans to try to trade for Pierce, but could not come up with a deal.

Pierce ultimately decided to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs instead. The Texans just released Pierce after three and a half years on the team.
Look, we all know Roseman likes to load up on talent in the backfield as much as possible, but this is crazy. There is a running back on this roster who has been playing well and is badly underutilized in this offense.
Did Roseman forget who he has in the backfield?
What happened with all the hype surrounding Tank Bigsby after his big 104-yard game against the New York Giants? He's been stellar this season for the Eagles on offense, but the team seems to have forgotten him altogether.
Bigsby is coming off a game where he played just 5% of the offensive snaps. He did get one carry in the game and went for eight yards, which tied for the longest run of the day.
The man is averaging 9.1 yards per carry this season, but the Eagles don't use him. He's only got 18 carries on the season, but has 164 yards. What are Eagles fans missing here?
Oh, and not to mention there's Will Shipley, who literally disappeared in the offense after Bigsby's big game against the Giants. Shipley has the capabilities of getting it done on the ground and through the air, but in silence.
Should we even talk about A.J. Dillon, who literally isn't even active anymore? We can probably move on.

Ultimately, this falls on Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo for not using the weapons he has at his disposal. Still, it's just interesting that Roseman would make a call for another running back. Are the Eagles not that much in love with Bigsby as fans thought?
