Armed with a projected 13 picks this upcoming NFL Draft, including a pair of third round selections, the Philadelphia Eagles have plenty of ammo to land top talent in a multitude of areas.

Much has been made of projected top priorities in the first-round neighborhood, including possibly going offensive line, with a mauler such as Olaivega Ioane sparking plenty of intrigue.

Meanwhile, a tight end in round one could also be the move for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, with Oregon freak athlete Kenyon Sadiq firmly sitting atop tight end prospect rankings league-wide. And while both Ioane and Sadiq could prove to be draft day boons in the first round, the proceeding rounds will allow Roseman to add several potential day-one starters, including a fascinating prospect projected to go in the second-third round range: South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse.

Eagles should target Brandon Cisse in the 2026 NFL Draft

While delving into the pool of top cornerback prospects in this year's draft, Brandon Lundberg of FootballScout365 raves about the considerable upside of the rangy cornerback:

"Cisse is an explosive boundary corner with rare movement tools and high developmental upside. He's very good to outstanding athletic traits show up in press-man coverage, where his length, burst, and recovery speed allow him to stay attached vertically and disrupt at the catch point," Lundberg concluded. "With technical development, he has near-elite starter upside."

Following his transfer from NC State to SEC action as a South Carolina Gamecock in 2025, Cisse secured a starting nod and lifted his game to new heights. Facing a slew of dangerous passing attacks, the 6-foot, 190-pound corner answered the call with 27 tackles, one interception, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble in a strong junior year before declaring.

Lundberg offered a current NFL player comp in Jaycee Horn of the Carolina Panthers to assess Cisse's long-term upside, another physical corner who can get downhill to light up ball carriers while flashing strong overall athleticism and press-coverage tools.

The future in Philly is far from set in stone for a trio of Eagles' corners, with Adoree' Jackson, Jakorian Bennett, and Michael Carter uncertain to return. Adding a fast-rising talent like Cisse could be in the cards this April, especially for the always wheeling and dealing Roseman.
