For weeks now, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has been a notable coaching candidate in this year's cycle.
Having talked with multiple teams already, Moore very well could get his opportunity soon. But, there is only one head coach vacancy remaining. The New Orleans Saints have yet to fill their opening, and Moore has been a top candidate in that conversation.
With just over one week to go before Super Bowl 59, Moore and his Eagles have been preparing for the biggest game of the season and biggest game of some of these players' lives. However, the coaching cycle still seems to be at the forefront of Moore's mind.
A couple of weeks ago, we had heard that Moore was rumored to already be assembling a coaching staff in case he were to land a job. In that instance, the Dallas Cowboys were a rumored team.
Of course, the Cowboys went a different route. But, that hasn't stopped Moore from continuing down that road in case he ends up getting the Saints' head coaching job.
Kellen Moore continues to work on assembling a coaching staff while prepping for Super Bowl 59
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Moore has already been working on his potential staff in New Orleans.
Also from Pelissero:
"Mickey Loomis informed other candidates this morning that, while there has been no final decision, he plans to continue discussions with Kellen Moore."

The other lead candidates are New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver who, just Friday, were told the Saints weren't going to be making a decision on their next head coach until after the Super Bowl.
You do the math. That's pretty telling. It sure sounds like the Saints are planning to hire Moore.
Add in the fact that he is putting together his staff, and it's obvious.
Speaking of which, once again, it's a little alarming that Moore is putting together his staff during Super Bowl prep. Sure, coaches do things like this every year. But, the fact that he's doing this during the Super Bowl?
That's on another level.
