Latest Kellen Moore coaching rumors will infuriate Eagles fans before Rams showdown

Let's hope the latest Kellen Moore update isn't factual.

We may have to write a retraction to our own story. We hope not, but nothing surprises us anymore, Something piqued our interest as we perused the usual Philadelphia Eagles airwaves.

This came on the heels of Kellen Moore's name beginning to circulate in NFL circles again as teams looked to replace head coaches they had moved on from with another. That's okay. In light of Philly's success, we expected that.

Then came a press conference.

Moore told us at that time he was focused on helping win the Super Bowl and the rest would take care of itself. We're paraphrasing, but that's the overall gist. Then an interview was announced... and another... and another.

One thing led to another. We began peeking behind the Dallas Cowboys' curtain to see what was being said. That's got us seeing red (if what we're hearing is true).

Kellen may not be as focused as we thought, and that's awful news if true as the Birds prepare to tackle the L.A. Rams on Sunday.

Rumor has it that Kellen Moore is already trying to put a coaching staff together as the Eagles are preparing for the Rams in the Divisional Round.

Two guys you may know as members of the Cowboys family are talking, and we don't like what they are saying. Jesse Holley, a former Cowboy receiver, and Clarence Hill Jr. (longtime Cowboys reporter) were talking on the DLLS Dallas Cowboys podcast, and they say Kellen Moore is already making calls to folks about joining his staff if he were to leave Philly.

Hill also added that Moore has called some Cowboys assistants that he used to work with. They'd have no reason to be dishonest about this, right?

If you're having flashbacks of what went on with Jonathan Gannon before Super Bowl LVII, we wouldn't be upset with you. Years later, we still wonder if he was as focused on the game as he should have been.

We still expect Philly to win in the Divisional Round, but if something disastrous were tp happen, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, this won't play well in Philly. It probably isn't playing well already to those who may be familiar with the narrative.
