Jason Kelce, though retired, will continue an Eagles holiday tradition

Jason Kelce and his friends are releasing yet another Christmas album, but sadly, this will be the final time they do so.

Call us crazy, but this is one of those stories we knew we'd be writing long before it was time to do so. Jason Kelce almost seems like he's part of our family (and everyone else's). The Philadelphia Eagles legend has dropped a few pounds and has settled into retirement, but we see him more now than when he played.

Seriously, this guy and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, have their own cereal. Then again, why wouldn't they have their own cereal?

Their New Heights podcast has taken off. He's part of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown, and if you've forgotten. He's a pretty good singer.

Jason Kelce and his friends are releasing yet another Christmas album.

We'll say it again. We could have written this a long time ago. Jason Kelce and friends are recording another Christmas album. Sadly, this will be the last time they do so. The title is 'A Philly Special Christmas Party'.

As has been the case in past years, Eagles offensive linemen Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson are teaming with him on the project. They've previously charted on Billboard in past years. The best part about all of this is proceeds from sales go to charities, and more than $4 million has been raised.

An Eagles Christmas album... Contributing to charity... An all-around good time... The album drops on Friday, November 29.

This time around, Boyz II Men and Stevie Nicks are among the guest vocalists. Sounds like a party to us. We'll be awaiting this one's release. We have already bought the first two albums and certainly will be buying the third. We hoped this would become an annual tradition.

And, it was of sorts, but as is the case with everything, all good things must come to an end. Check out NBC 10s recent drop about the project.
