When Eagles rookie linebacker Jihaad Campbell and company suit up in Orchard Park in Week 17, a devastating Buffalo Bills ground game awaits them.
The duo of James Cook and Josh Allen has already combined for over 2,000 rushing yards (2,084 total) and 24 rushing touchdowns through 15 games.
Cook, the three-time Pro Bowler out of Georgia, boasts a league-best 1,532 yards on the ground (5.3 avg) with 12 touchdowns. He's eclipsed the century mark in four out of the past five games, fresh off a two-touchdown effort amid 117 rushing yards against a stout Browns defense in the trenches.
Meanwhile, Cook's teammate and perennial MVP Candidate under center is equally adept at gashing opponents on the ground. Allen is fast approaching 5,000 career rushing yards (4,694), entering week 17 action, checking in with 552 ground yards and 12 touchdowns.
Just like Cook, Allen also averages more than five yards per carry (5.3 avg).
That's 24 rushing touchdowns combined- 12 trips to pay dirt apiece - and an imposing two-headed monster nestled in upstate New York for the visitors to buckle up against.
Eagles' defense will have to step up with as all eyes are on Jihaad Campbell
For a Philadelphia Eagles defense playing lights-out lately, one key change could impact their ability to slow Buffalo down on the ground.
Rookie Jihaad Campbell slides back into the starting lineup following Nakobe Dean's injury suffered in first-quarter action last weekend.
For Campbell, the opportunity to team up once again with Zack Baun is a big one. A starter in the early goings this season, Campbell has, of course, ceded that role to Dean, who has dazzled at the second level for a resurgent Eagles defensive unit before succumbing to injury in Washington.
While there's no denying Campbell's athleticism and range, awareness and play recognition will be paramount in the rookie's renewed mission to prove he belongs as the man in the middle.

The return of Jalen Carter up front appears to give Philadelphia an edge up front against a Buffalo line that features top talent at tackle (Spencer Brown and Deion Dawkins), but can be susceptible at times up the gut. Jordan Davis, Carter, and others can inflict plenty of damage on the interior, leaving it to Campbell and Baun to limit the ground game exploits of Allen and Cook come Week 17.
