There has been an endless amount of mock drafts that have come out over the last few months, but this latest one from the Philadelphia Eagles might be the one fans pray will actually come true.

The Athletic's Eagles reporter Zach Berman shared his seven-round mock draft, basing his picks on the massive "The Beast" NFL Draft guide the site released. Berman starts the action with Utah offensive tackle Caleb Lomu going 23rd overall to Philly.

"Lomu, who is ranked Brugler’s No. 25 overall player, played two years at Utah and was a standout left tackle both seasons (freshman All-American in 2024, first-team All-Big 12 in 2025). He’s 6-foot-6 and 313 pounds with 33 3/8-inch arms and strong movement skills at the position. Top tackle Spencer Fano moved to the right side to accommodate Lomu. He’s raw and still needs polish, but there’s time for Lomu to develop — he doesn’t turn 22 until December — and the Eagles don’t need him to step into the lineup immediately. Lomu visited Philadelphia this week."

Lomu makes a lot of sense since the Eagles are already interested in him, as he was hosted by the team on a 30-visit this week. He was a first-team All-Big 12 selection at Utah last season.

Here are the rest of the results from Berman's mock draft:

  • Round 2, Pick 54: Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson
  • Round 3, Pick 68: Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt
  • Round 3, Pick 98: Markell Bell, OT, Miami (FL)
  • Round 4, Pick 114: LT Overton, EDGE, Alabama
  • Round 4, Pick 137: Tacario Davis, CB, Washington
  • Round 5, Pick 153: Michael Taaffe, S, Texas
  • Round 5, Pick 178: Jeff Caldwell, WR, Cincinnati
  • Round 6, Pick 197: Kendal Daniels, LB, Oklahoma

Williams never really exploded at Clemson, but he was a reliable receiver with the size to replace A.J. Brown if he gets traded. The Eagles would have a solid foundation at receiver for the future with Wiliams and could be a solid WR2 choice to work with DeVonta Smith.

Stowers is the second most athletic tight end in this draft behind Oregon's Kenyon Sadiq. If the Eagles managed to get Stowers in the third round, it would be a massive steal for the Birds, as he would easily replace Dallas Goedert after the 2026 season.

Every pick hits the right notes and fills in big needs for the team. The Eagles would be ecstatic if this is how their draft goes.
