After Philadelphia Eagles fans got past the initial excitement following the drafting of wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, it was time for the man himself to enjoy a plethora of interviews.

Once he walked the stage and did his initial interview, Lemon, like all major draft picks, get the chance to immediately head over and fulfill many other interviews which were set up prior to the draft. One of those, for Lemon, was Bleacher Report's show featuring former Dallas Cowboy and current Green Bay Packer, Micah Parsons.

In his segment with B/R, Lemon responded similarly to other post-draft interviews we've seen.

"I couldn't be more happy," Lemon said as he referred to the Eagles as the "greatest organization."

Parsons aparently wasn't ready to be a professional.

"Hey bro, congratulations. You had me at everything but 'the greatest organization' bro, I was trying to hold it. I was really trying to hold it," Parsons responded while trying to hold back laughter.

Former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell offered support for Makai Lemon after Micah Parsons' diss

In the aftermath of this video making the rounds, former running back Le'Veon Bell not only saw the footage, but responded via social media:

"I love Micah Parsons as a football player, GREAT player .. but I hate the way he handled interviewing that young wide out drafted to the eagles .. young man just happy to be drafted, that’s not the time to diss an organization .. bro not even a Cowboy anymore, it’s just lame"

Bell's response to Parsons has gotten plenty of interaction already, and it's curious to see that it wasn't a former Eagle, nor someone who ever even played in the NFC East, to come to Lemon's defense right away.

Regardless of where the sentiments came from, Bell is absolutely right. The moment between Parsons and Lemon was awkward and completely uncalled for. You could tell by watching Lemon's face that he wasn't impressed. He didn't care.

And, in a way, that was what every Eagles fan would've wanted to see. Lemon was all business and focused on being grateful for his moment.

For good measure, it's also worth noting that Parsons isn't even a Cowboy anymore, like Bell said. Parsons should have no allegiance to the Cowboys, at this point, especially with how the end of his time there unfolded.

On one hand, you have Jerry Jones (L-O-L). On the other hand, you have one of the most intelligent, crafty, and respected general managers in Howie Roseman.

You tell me who's "greater."
