Micah Parsons' ongoing Eagles obsession finally wins with Saquon Barkley theory

Maybe Micah Parsons should change his podcast's name from 'The Edge' to 'Philadelphia Eagles'.

They say teams take on the personality of their head coaches. They also say everything is bogger in Texas. We say things are bigger in Texas, especially the media coverage and that we have watched the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys rivalry so long that we believe the so-called 'America's Team' takes on the personality of its owner.

Like Jerry Jones, the Cowboys are rich, well-known, and brash. And, they've never met microphones that they didn't want to step in front of.

Have you heard? Micah Parsons is too injured to play football. He's been inactive since Week 5, but as it turns out his podcast feed and vocal cords are working just fine.

Micah Parsons references Giants 'stupidity' in recent take about Eagles star Saquon Barkley.

We have decided that Micah Parsons ought to change the name of his podcast. The Edge just doesn't work anymore. How about something more fitting of the show's content? How about 'Philadelphia Eagles' seeing as how he spends so much time discussing them?

Lose the blue. Paint everything Midnight Green because let's be honest. Micah is obsessed with Philly and stressed out because he doesn't play here.

He's discussed Eagles draft choices constantly. This season alone he's offered C.J. Gardner-Johnson takes on occasion, takes C.J. responded to. And, who can forget about the times Darius Slay appeared as a guest?

Here's a recent take we enjoyed though, one where he references Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants' stupidity (his words, not ours).

Well, he's right, but he's talked so long about this Eagles team that he had to nail something at some point. What's that saying? Even broken clocks are correct twice during the day.

Kudos to Micah. He missed wildly on his Jalen Hurts theories dating back to 2022. Still, as he mentioned, he and Saquon Barkley were teammates at Penn State. Dallas continues to lose, but who cares? Their players don't seem to care. If this is how Micah wins, we can live with that.
