Well deserved Coop! Well deserved!

If you're like me, you're a creature of habit. I typically eat the same things at the same restaurants. My mornings often involve cereal and a breakfast sandwich. If not, I skip breakfast and watch Good Morning Football on NFL Network, and I hope they say something about my Philadelphia Eagles.

Some days, they don't, so I mute the TV and play 94 WIP-FM in the background until something related to the Birds crosses the tube.

Nine days before the 2025 NFL Draft, we hit the jackpot. Jamie Erdahl pieced together a list of the best recent pick-sixes in postseason history. You'll certainly be a fan of one of them.

Cooper DeJean's Super Bowl INT and return lands on a list of the best postseason pick-sixes.

None of us will ever forget where we were at the moment where the Eagles pieced together the greatest defensive series in franchise history. Yeah... We said it!

Leading the Chiefs by a 10-0 margin, the Birds defense sacked Patrick Mahomes on consecutive plays before then-rookie Cooper DeJean read the 'G.O.A.T. in waiting's eyes and turned a phenomenal interception into an even more phenomenal pick-six.

Thank NFL Films for the visuals.

Months later, we're still talking about what Coop and the Birds did the the Kansas City Chiefs on football's biggest stage. NFL Network's Jamie Erdahl gave DeJean another tip of the cap.

Erdahl's top five postseason pick-sixes stack up as follows. We have to admit. This is a damn fine list of choices, especially seeing how Ronde Barber's moment isn't on it.

You're right... We're sorry to have brought that up:

1. James Harrison's 100-yarder in Super Bowl 43.
2. Cooper DeJean's pick-six in Super Bowl 59.
3. Ray Lewis's 50-yard stunner for the Ravens vs. the Titans
4. Logan Ryan's nine-yard dynasty-ender for the Titans vs. Patriots
5. Malcolm Smith's 69-yarder for Seattle vs. Denver (SB 48)

Some of you are probably scratching your head about some of the inclusions and/or exclusions. As Erdahl states, this is a list of recent moments, plays that have occurred during her lifetime.

While it will be hard to top James Harrison's moment in Super Bowl 43, Coop's birthday score will forever be number one in our book. It was also nice to see the cap tip for Logan Ryan. His play may lack some of the drama of the others mentioned, but it did help end the Patriots dynasty during the final game played by Tom Brady in Foxborough.
