We have a long time before we need to begin diving into this. Right now, all eyes are glued to the NFL's postseason with hopes that our Philadelphia Eagles can make a run that ends with them hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans. We have a little free time today though, and just like you, we're paying attention to everything that has anything to do with our Birds.

Call it an obsession. We watch the College Football Playoff, and most of our reason for doing so is we're eyeing potential Eagles draft prospects in April. Once the NFL's postseason bracket was finalized, we began looking ahead to the 2025-26 NFL season.

And, that was before a single postseason game was played.

The Eagles will play ten postseason qualifiers from the 2024-25 NFL season.

We don't know the dates yet, and we won't know them for a while. We do, however, know who the Eagles will play next season. We also know who the home and road opponents are.

The NFC East draws the four teams of the NFC North and the members of the AFC West. The remaining in-conference games are filled out by the other NFC division winners. They 17th opponent is the Buffalo Bills because, like Philly, they finished as the second-seeded team in their conference.

Eagles 2025-26 regular-season home opponents

  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Washington Commanders
  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • Denver Broncos
  • Las Vegas Raiders (we have to keep remembering not to call them 'Oakland'

Philly's list of ten playoff qualifiers from the previous season is the most for any franchise since the field expanded from 12 to 14 teams. The Lions, Rams, Broncos, Commanders, Packers, Vikings Bucs, Chiefs, Chargers, and Bills will all enjoy an opportunity to compete for the Vince Lombardi Trophy this January, and as fate would have it, they are all on Philly's schedule next season.

First things first though. Let's get our Birds to New Orleans!
