Is it really Philadelphia Eagles football if there's no drama attached to it? Eagles fans are used to the drama at this point, and the latest bit of theatrics comes from wide receiver A.J. Brown, who hasn't been pulling any punches in the drama department this season.

The latest bit of drama came when Brown was on a stream playing Madden 26 and didn't hold back on his frustrations with the Eagles. A few things that were said during this time were that any owners who had him in fantasy football should drop him and that the team is a s*** show.

When asked about this particular situation during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, NFL analyst and former NFL quarterback Chris Simms broke it down in a way that Eagles fans won't be able to agree with. Patrick asked Simms why no one else on the Eagles roster was complaining, and that's where Simms hit the ground running.

"[The Eagles are] wasting one of the biggest assets on their football team. We got a guy that's making $32 million and is one of the best offensive players in the game and they can't find a way to let him touch the football. That's kinda crazy in the 2025 NFL," Simms said. "I don't sit here and condone all the things [Brown]'s said and done. This thing what he just did being on, playing online, playing a game with somebody, I don't think he said anything crazy there. I didn't have that much of a problem with it... 'Hey we're not good, don't take me on fantasy, we should be better'. Yeah, it's obvious stuff, right?"

Chris Simms hit the nail on the head regarding A.J. Brown situation

As annoying as it is for Brown to be airing out the Eagles' dirty laundry like this, is anything he said inaccurate? He hasn't been a focal point in the offense, and for a guy who loves competing and giving it his all, that's got to be frustrating.

Simms highlighted that Brown is making a ton of money and is a very good player, so why isn't he a bigger part of the Eagles' offense? Why is he being ignored every week? It's a fair question to ask.

Some fans might not like that Brown is being so vocal about all of this, but a wide receiver being vocal about not getting the targets he thinks he deserves isn't new. The hope is that the Eagles can find a way to get Brown more involved and that peace can be restored there. If not, something is definitely going to go down this offseason.
