Initial thoughts on Eagles' 2026 schedule

The incredible part of the Eagles' schedule is how often they have a standalone game. They have a total of eight, with the potential of a ninth depending on the Week 18 matchup against the New York Giants.

A big difference between the 2025 and this year's schedules is that the Eagles got a break with the back-to-back home games. Last year, they had zero of those, but this year they have three incidents with back-to-back home games.

One downside is that the Eagles will face a massive challenge at the end of the year. They are on the road twice in the last four games and have to play teams like the Seahawks on a short week, the Texans on Thursday night, the 49ers on a Sunday night road game, and the Giants in MetLife Stadium.

The Eagles entered the 2026 NFL schedule release as one of the top 10 easiest schedules in the league, but the one the league gave them is going to be anything but easy.
