What a month! Our heads are still spinning. We traveled from a Senior Bowl in Alabama to a Super Bowl hosted by New Orleans. The latter game felt like it was played in some alternate version of Lincoln Financial Field, one with a roof.
Perhaps Landon Dickerson said it best. " I don't think I've played an (expletive) 'away' game (in) my entire career." We can understand where he's coming from. Birds fans took over in the Big Easy before they returned home with millions of friends for a victory parade on Valentine's Day.
Here we are navigating our way through another week. The confetti has been swept away, and another NFL Scouting Combine approaches.
That can only mean one thing. We'll be inundated with NFL mock drafts from now until the real selection meeting arrives at the end of April.
So, what have the experts been saying? We're glad you asked. Here's a roundup. Two agree. One swings wildly with an uncharacteristic decision we don't often see from Howie Roseman.

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com - Malaki Starks, safety, Georgia Bulldogs
Daniel Jeremiah, in his NFL mock draft 2.0, sends former Georgia Bulldogs star Malaki Starks to the City of Brotherly Love. Here's what D.J. stated as his reason for making that selection.
"The Eagles add another versatile piece to the secondary in Starks, who joins the “Georgia North” all-stars in Philadelphia."
While we respect D.J.'s opinion, we doubt the Birds would swing for the fences and a safety in Round 1, even if that safety is as good as Malaki Starks. That just isn't the business model.
We've seen Philly ignore Earl Thomas (2010) and Kyle Hamilton (2022) in the past. They, instead, elected to add Brandon Graham and Jordan Davis.
Trench warriors win in Philly. They've only selected four defensive backs in Round 1 since 1936, the most recent being Lito Sheppard (2002) and Quiinyon Mitchell (2024).
Daniel Flick, Sports Illustrated - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M Aggies
Our buddies at Sports Illustrated aren't to be left out. In Daniel Flick's recent mock, Philly lands an edge rusher, Nic Scourton. Now, that's more like it! Scourton makes sense for a team who may need to replace Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat.
"Unfortunately for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, there are no University of Georgia defenders who make sense at this slot—but Scourton is a strong consolation prize.
After leading the Big Ten in sacks in 2023 at Purdue, he logged five sacks and 28 hurries in his first season with the Aggies. Scourton, who stands six-foot-four, 285 pounds, has a high floor due to his hot-running motor and consistency against the run.
Chris Trapasso, CBS Sports - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M Aggies
CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso agrees with Flick and sends Scourton to Philadelphia. CBS ranks the former Aggie as the 33rd-best prospect in this draft and as the fifth-best pass rusher.
"The Eagles add more to the defensive line given the potential turnover at their strongest position group in 2024." Sounds easy enough... For those who are interested, Scourton earned First-Team All-SEC honors in 2024 after being named a Second-teamer in the Big Ten in 2023.
