NFL free agency rumors continue to swirl online as the 2025 NFL season has one remaining game, with the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks participating in Super Bowl LX.

With 30 of the 32 teams in full free agency mode, the Philadelphia Eagles are currently reevaluating their free agency board. One Eagles free agent is in full demand and should be in line for a "pay-day" come early March.

The Eagles' Jaelan Phillips should be in demand for a $17.3 million-dollar AAV, per Pro Football Focus. While Phillips didn't produce "elite" sack numbers, in terms of "grades," he was a high-level "disrupter" on Vic Fangio's defensive front, becoming one of the team's most effective pass rushers since joining.

From Week 10 to the end of the Eagles' season, Phillips produced 43 pressures and a pass-rush win rate of 17.6%, in line with his production in Miami prior to the trade deadline. Phillips continued to provide value in Fangio's scheme, often creating enough pressure as a pass rusher (80.7 PFF pass rush grade) that the Eagles unit as a whole increased, allowing the team to surpass their 2024 sack total.

While Phillips dealt with injuries in 2023 and 2024 (including in college), he managed to stay healthy throughout the regular season and the Eagles' playoff game. While Phillips has proven that he's able to be an elite-level EDGE rusher for many NFL franchises (with him having a torn Achilles in 2023 and a torn ACL in 2024, on his resume, it could scare some teams off or lower some of his guarantees.

With free agency's "legal tampering period" set to begin on March 9, Phillips, along with many pending free agents, should be priorities for all 32 NFL teams. Phillips finished the 2025 season with 53 tackles, five sacks, seven tackles for loss, and four pass breakups in 17 games for Miami and Philadelphia.
