While the storylines around the Philadelphia Eagles are always negative, they are 8-2 on the season. Despite picking up a massive 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 11, the adverse reports won't stop.

Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn shared after the Eagles-Lions game that members of the organization are frustrated with quarterback Jalen Hurts' play. There were indications that he was doing his own thing and not following the offense.

This is where Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni comes to do some damage control, which seems to be his primary job over the first 11 weeks of the regular season. Sirianni made his weekly appearance on Sports Radio 94 WIP, where he addressed the report with a simple reply.

"I'm not frustrated with him. He goes out there and does his job each week and does a great job of putting us in position to win games and that's the name of the game."

Are we done here and move on to the Dallas Cowboys already?

There just never seems to be any rest for the Eagles, as they have to keep working through every piece of drama on the team. That's okay, because Philly is 8-2 and atop the NFC.

While Sirianni might not be frustrated by Hurts, Eagles fans would like to see some improvement from him. The past two games have been bad for Hurts, as he has posted consecutive games with a completion percentage under 60%. His play against the Lions was arguably the worst of the season for him, as he only completed 50% of his passes and didn't throw a touchdown.

To be fair, the Eagles' offense has been wildly frustrating for fans and players alike. A.J. Brown can't get anything going when he catches the ball. Saquon Barkley has been inconsistent on the ground, and Lane Johnson's latest injury is a reminder of how banged-up and disappointing the offensive line has been.

The Eagles have seven games to fix everything happening on offense, but it all starts with Hurts getting back into a groove and silencing the reports and haters.
