Another week, another Nick Sirianni accolade to add to his impressive resume.

After clinching the NFC East for the second consecutive year in the 29-18 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 16, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has found himself in elite company once again.

"According to Elias Sports, Nick Sirianni is one of three Super Bowl Era head coaches to make the playoffs five times and win three division championships in their first five career seasons," Eagles Director of Communications John Gonoude posted on X.

NFL has to start respecting what Sirianni is doing in Philly

Sirianni last week saw himself thrust into the top two of wins in a head coach's first five seasons, now securely behind George Seifert. Now Sirianni joins Bill Cowher and Chuck Knox to reach the above-mentioned category. It's also worth noting that Sirianni is the only coach among Cowher and Knox to have won a Super Bowl in that span of five years.

Sirianni's regular-season record is 58-25, currently third on the franchise's all-time wins list as a head coach in Eagles history. He now sits five wins behind Greasy Neale (63), which he's sure to surpass in 2026. Despite all the calls for Sirianni's job over the years, the Mount Union alum remains in elite company, seemingly setting a new record that puts him there every week.

With two games remaining and a playoff berth clinched, Sirianni's team will most likely continue to play its starters in Week 17 as it gears up to face the Buffalo Bills. Due to Philadelphia's seeding still up in the air, Sirianni and company could continue to cement his status as one of the NFL's best coaches through his first five seasons.

In addition to his 58 wins in the regular season, Sirianni owns a 6-3 record in the playoffs, which includes two Super Bowl appearances, including their 2024 Lombardi trophy as well. With a minimum of three more games in 2025, Sirianni's first five seasons as an NFL head coach have him in an elite company despite the groans from critics during his tenure.
