With every win, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni finds his name next to several NFL legends as his career goes on.
Sirianni, who is now one game away from completing his fifth regular season as a head coach, sits at 65 wins (including postseason), tying him with Don Shula for third all-time among head coaches in their team's first five seasons (playoffs included).
With a minimum of two more games left in 2025, Sirianni is in striking distance of Tony Dungy and George Seifert, who sit above Sirianni and Shula. What's even more impressive is that Sirianni took over a 4-11-1 2020 Eagles team, just like Shula, who took over a Dolphins team that was 3-10-1 in 1969, the year before he was hired.
Nobody can deny Nick Sirianni is a winner all the way through
Despite the 2025 season's volatility, Sirianni has continued to lead the Eagles in the right direction, keeping them competitive amid coaching changes and firings. Three of Sirianni's coordinators have gone on to become head coaches for NFL teams, and Sirianni has still made the playoffs despite having four different offensive coordinators across five seasons.
In addition to the elite company he's cemented throughout NFL history, Sirianni continues to make his legacy known in the Eagles' record books. His 59 regular-season wins place him third all-time among head coaches in Eagles history, with him closing in on Greasy Neale (1941-1950), who has 63 wins.
With the Eagles scheduled to take on the Washington Commanders for their Week 18 matchup, Sirianni has a favorable chance to get to win number 66, which would give him a one-win advantage over Shula. It would also tie him with Greasy Neale for second all-time in Eagles history, including playoff wins.

While we're sure Sirianni takes pride in being in elite company, at this point in his career, the only thing that matters now is raising Lombardi trophies.
