Everyone is wondering the same thing about the Philadelphia Eagles' offense in 2026: what will they look like?
Kevin Patullo is gone, and Sean Mannion takes over as the Eagles' offensive coordinator. The unit revamped the wide receiver room and added a ton of young talent in the NFL Draft for the future.
While it's way too early to tell how things will go, training camp showed there were some bumps in the road. That isn't stopping Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni from sharing how he feels about the offense.
Nick Sirianni opens up about Eagles' offense in 2026
Sirianni appeared on SportsRadio 94 WIP, where he discussed working with the offense and changing up the scheme. Philly's head coach has been enjoying bringing change to the unit.
"It's been a lot of fun...We changed for a reason. And I think that's one of the hardest things when you've had the success we've had—when to change."
This offense finished in the bottom 15 in every major offensive statistical category for the first time since Sirianni became head coach in 2021. Most Eagles fans will feel the same way as Sirianni and be excited, too.
Mannion is bringing in a scheme that has made other head coaches like Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, and Kyle Shanahan successful on offense. This new-look offense will include more pre-snap motions, RPOs, and passes in the middle of the field.
Early indications suggest Mannion is getting the running backs more involved in the passing game. His work with Jalen Hurts so far has gone well, despite the franchise quarterback's high number of interceptions in training camp.
This season is all about getting Hurts out of his comfort zone and helping his team win in ways he has never done before. He has to attack the middle of the field more and run the ball more than he has. That could lead to more interceptions and turnovers, but it could also lead to more points per game.
No one in Philly is expecting perfection from this offense early on, but the signs of progress have to be there right away. If this offense looks the same as it did in 2025, the fan base will quickly get loud about it.

Sirianni has every right to be excited because this is the fresh start the Eagles needed on offense. A new era of Eagles football is upon the fan base, and it's going to be interesting to see what Mannion can bring to the table.
