Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is a football guy first and foremost. Everything else is secondary for him as he solely focuses on the 2025 season. How much so?

While speaking to the media on Tuesday, Sirianni was asked about Thursday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles will be celebrating their Super Bowl champion team from last year with a banner being revealed in the stadium.

Sirianni doesn't seem too focused on that at all.

“I didn’t know it was banner night, we won’t be out for that.”

Sirianni is all about 2025 and Eagles fans should love it

The reality is the Eagles have spent the last seven months celebrating the 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. There should be a period where the team can enjoy being champions and all their hard work over the last year.

Sirianni has made it clear, though, since June, that he is done with celebrating the Super Bowl. He clearly stated to the team before OTAs what he felt.

“The celebration is over. Preparation is here…Treat praise like perfume. Sniff it, don’t drink it—it’s poison.”

This is just part of the culture that Sirianni has built since becoming the team's head coach. It's why the Eagles have made the postseason every year he has been the head coach and appeared in two Super Bowls.

Eagles fans will be able to enjoy the Super Bowl celebration on Thursday at Lincoln Financial Field, while the Eagles will be in the locker room mentally preparing for the Cowboys, the way it should be.

Sirianni's mindset is exactly why Eagles fans should be pumped for the 2025 season. This team won't be missing a beat with him running the show.
