After new Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion met with the offensive coaches on the staff, it appears there's at least one position coach he wants to hire.
It was reported that Arizona Cardinals pass game specialist Connor Senger interviewed for the Eagles' quarterbacks coach job, a position many fans thought was filled by Scot Loeffler. While there have been no official reports of a move, something has happened: another name has emerged as a candidate.
NFL insider Mike Garafolo reported that former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback coach Greg Olson is a name to watch for the Eagles QB coach opening, as Mannion is reportedly interested in bringing him in. Mannion has been coached by Olson twice in his career, with the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 and the Seattle Seahawks in 2023.
Greg Olson is now a candidate for the Eagles' QB coach job
It's a bit of an odd situation that no coaching changes have been reported by anyone in Philly. The Eagles appeared to have made changes without the general public knowing.
This isn't a surprise that some kind of movement was going to come with the coaching staff on offense after the failures of the 2025 season. The Eagles ranked in the bottom 15 in every major offensive category, with Kevin Patullo serving as the offensive coordinator in his first and only season.
Olson is no stranger to coaching offenses, having served as an offensive coordinator in the NFL six times since 2004. He's hopped around multiple times in his coaching career and has earned the respect of the rest of the coaches in the league.

It would not be a surprise to hear if the Eagles were doing anymore interivews for other coach positions on the staff as Mannion builds his dream coaching staff. Eagles fans will have to wait and see who is next for the team.
