Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni made his first big hire of the offseason as he hired former Green Bay Packers quarterback coach Sean Mannion as the offensive coordinator.

Apparently, this was only the beginning of the big changes coming for the Eagles, as they also brought in former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard as the passing game coordinator. This is all on the heels of Kevin Patullo being removed as the Eagles' offensive coordinator after one season, but he might not be the only one moving on from Philly.

NFL insider Mike Garafolo added an interesting note to the report about Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who is not planning to retire and will return for the 2026 season after being convinced to stay, though a change of heart remains possible. Garafolo shared that Mannion met with all the position coaches and is meeting with Sirianni to decide who to keep and who to replace, with Mannion potentially bringing in his own people.

Eagles could be moving on from key offensive staff members

The only coach on the offensive staff that might be safe for the time being is offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Even Stoutland is no longer 100% safe for his job after reports of him losing his title as run game coordinator in the middle of last year.

Philly appears to have bought into the idea of completely changing the offensive scheme around. That might be for the best, though.

Last year, the Eagles were ranked in the bottom 15 in every key offensive statistic, including points, total offense, passing, and rushing. They struggled with an inconsistent offensive line and a stale, predictable play calling.

Mannion might not have the experience as a play caller, but he has a chance to completely change the offense and bring much-needed innovation and creativity. Expect this Eagles offense to look completely different in 2026.
