As judgment day, aka June 1, has arrived for A.J. Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles, a team just up the turnpike is also on the cusp of shaking up their wide receiver room.
And an old Philly foe might just be returning to the NFC East. NFL Network insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport reported that the New York Giants are signing Odell Beckham Jr. to a contract after his workout. They are also signing wide receiver Braxton Berrios to a one-year deal as well.

Armando Salguero of FOX Sports also provided an interesting update on the Giants, touching on their continued efforts to strengthen their wideout unit before Beckham and Berrios signed.
The Giants are also working out JuJu Smith-Schuster, Anthony Miller and Braxton Berrios on Monday. Smith-Schuster is familiar with the team's offense because he played under Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy in Kansas City last season.
Odell Beckham Jr. joins Giants as well as others working out for them
While he's fought an array of injuries in recent years, the return of Beckham welcomes back a weapon at wideout who has had numerous battles with the Birds. From 2014 to 2018, the LSU product averaged nearly six catches per contest against Philadelphia. In total, Beckham Jr. has hauled in 61 catches for 732 yards and six touchdowns in nine games versus the Eagles.
With the Giants also bringing in Smith-Shuster and Miller for workouts, the upgrades at the position for New York continue. The team, of course, added Malachi Fields out of Notre Dame in the third round, who, along with Malik Nabers, comprises a strong young duo for the Eagles' secondary to match up with moving forward.

Adding Beckham to the mix gives the team a solid veteran who often rises to the occasion against Philadelphia.
