The Philadelphia Eagles have finalized their practice squad for now, with 15 players returning to the team.
It is almost split down the middle with seven defensive players and eight offensive players on each side. Each NFL team can have 16 players on the practice squad. After the recent cuts of Trevor Keegan and Tristin McCollum, it is safe to assume that unless they are claimed, they should be on the Eagles' practice squad in the next 24 hours.
So who are the new members of the practice squad for the Eagles?
Chance Campbell, LB
Campbell was a late addition to the roster during training camp, but still was able to make a good enough impression to get on the practice squad. He racked up four tackles in the preseason with the Eagles.
Elijah Cooks, WR
If it wasn't for an injury he suffered on special teams against the Cincinnati Bengals, Cooks might have had a better shot at making the 53-man roster. He only had two catches for 14 yards in the preseason, but his height makes him a threat in the red zone, similar to Johnny Wilson.
Kenyon Green, G
The former first-round pick was a starter for the Houston Texans before being part of the C.J. Gardner-Johnson trade in the offseason. Green was never able to make a huge impression as he started as a third-string left guard, but was able to move up after the Landon Dickerson injury. In preseason, Green did miss some time as he got hurt as well, but he still makes for a good player on the practice squad.
E.J. Jenkins, TE
Jenkins was also a member of the Eagles' practice squad last year as he returns. He had a solid training camp and preseason with five receptions for 41 yards. The tight end room was deep, but Jenkins brings youth in case they need someone to step in for injury.
Brandon Johnson, CB
Johnson impressed at training camp and the preseason by the end of it. Many had suspected that he would be back after a good showing, but depth at the cornerback position made it nearly impossible for Johnson to make it.
Patrick Johnson, EDGE
Another Johnson making the roster, Patrick Johnson, had a great preseason. As Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said in his press conference on Tuesday, he wants Johnson back, either on the 53-man roster or the practice squad. Johnson finished the preseason with four tackles, one sack, and an interception.
Cameron Latu, TE
This is most likely in response to the Eagles being overly cautious with Dallas Goedert's injury history, but Latu returns to the team. Only two targets for Latu in the preseason, but he still made enough of an impression to get on the practice squad.
Terrace Marshall, WR
An injury early in training camp derailed Marshall's chances to make the 53-man roster, but when he was at practice, he was great. Marshall caught seven passes for 66 yards in the preseason with most of the work being done in the preseason finale against the New York Jets. The veteran now sticks around in Philly.
Kyle McCord, QB
This was the least surprising signing to the practice squad, given that Tanner McKee's injury was being addressed. McCord struggled in the preseason, posting a 42% completion percentage with one touchdown and two interceptions. He's not ready to take on the QB3 job, but the Eagles at least want to develop him into one or even a QB2.
Parry Nickerson, CB
Nickerson had a great last game against the New York Jets as he finished with three tackles, one pass breakup, and an interception. It was a long shot for him to make the roster, but that performance in the preseason finale was enough to win him a spot on the practice squad.
Hollin Pierce, OT
Size and athleticism is enough to get anyone excited about what Pierce can be. Standing a 6-foot-8, 341 pounds, Pierce is a force who just needs more time to develop. Could he be the next Jordan Mailata?
Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE
Powell-Ryland was not impressive at all throughout camp and preseason as it took him until the final game against the Jets to record any stats. It was a great game for him, though, as he picked up a sack and a forced fumble. If it wasn't for that game, he might not be on the practice squad.
Eli Ricks, CB
Ricks is a veteran of the Eagles, but has bounced back and forth on the practice squad. Jakorian Bennett's inclusion on the roster during training camp might have cost Ricks a spot on the roster, but still a great asset for the Eagles to have.
Andre Sam, S
Sam was a tackling machine in the secondary as he had 11 tackles for the Eagles. He showed up when he needed to and more than definitely earned his spot on the practice squad. With McCollum's cut, Sam might have a stronger shot to make the roster.

Audric Estime, RB
The former Denver Broncos running back had a solid rookie season with 310 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games. With Denver being loaded a running back, Estime was not able to find room on there for playing time.
