The Philadelphia Eagles haven't quite finished putting their coaching staff together, but they are close to being complete after the latest hire.

CBS Sports reporter Matt Zenitz reported the Eagles are hiring Beyah Rasool to be a defensive assistant on the staff. Rasool was with the Las Vegas Raiders last year and was a defensive backs coach in college for the Florida Gators and Bowling Green.

The Eagles just recently lost one of their assistant coaches, Ronell Williams, to the Raiders. Philly has also lost key coaches, like Christian Parker, who departed for the Dallas Cowboys as their defensive coordinator.

This is an Eagles coaching staff that has undergone multiple changes, with most of them on the offensive side of the ball. Sean Mannion was hired to be the offensive coordinator to replace Kevin Patullo and has since almost completely overhauled that side of the ball.

Fangio has had somewhat of an easier time with his staff, with Parker being the biggest loss. The Eagles replaced Parker with Joe Kasper as the new defensive backs coach and pass game coordinator.

Philly has to be getting close to solidifying their coaching staff for the 2026 season. Many NFL teams have already announced their coaching staffs for the new year, with the Eagles among those that have not yet done so.

There might be smaller staff roles that still need to be filled, but all the key roles have been filled. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni will have to make sure to get that done soon, as the offseason is about to begin with free agency and the draft.

While there were some concerns with the staff going into the offseason, the Eagles have done a nice job of retooling to get these coaches to move the needle with the players and get back to the Super Bowl.
