There doesn't seem to be any selections in the 2026 NFL Draft that had Philadelphia Eagles fans complaining to general manager Howie Roseman.

While there were some big names that Roseman selected in the draft, there was one Day 3 pick that almost seemed to be a no-brainer on why he got selected: Georgia guard Micah Morris in the sixth round. Besides the obvious ties to Georgia that Roseman seems to always love to pick, he also talked about what he liked about Morris from their evaluation of him.

"There's a lot to like about him," Roseman said via The Athletic's Zach Berman. "He's got great size. All his testing is through the roof. He started every game for Georgia this year. He's got incredible experience playing in the SEC. He's got all the ability, and now he's got to apply that. ...Another guy who stood out on the board."

Morris was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2025 with the Bulldogs. Pro Football Focus graded him at 73.1, ranking 44th in the nation. Last season, he allowed four pressures, two quarterback hits, and zero sacks in 369 pass-blocking snaps.

The big thing with Morris is that he will jump in right away to be Brett Toth's replacement at guard. Toth played guard and center, so there's a chance that Morris will get cross-trained to do the same thing.

Depth on the Eagles' offensive line has been a concern this offseason, with first Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson almost retiring from the league. Also, Toth and Matt Pryor departed in free agency, making things tougher on the unit. The Eagles tried to remedy that with Morris' selection and, before him, with picking Miami offensive tackle Markel Bell in the third round.

Being a starter in Week 1 doesn't seem to be very likely for Morris, but he could develop into a future starter for the franchise.
