Eagles fans all have the same question on their minds at OTAs

Yep, we are thinking it.

The Philadelphia Eagles are entering their final week of OTAs, and the fan base all has the same question at the top of their minds going into it.

ESPN Eagles reporter Tim McManus has his focus on quarterback Jalen Hurts and how he gels with new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion's scheme early on. For McManus, it's all about how Hurts is looking early in that process.

"Hurts is not only acclimating to life without A.J. Brown but also is in the process of learning a different system under coordinator Sean Mannion. As the OTAs have shown, Hurts will be asked to go under center and throw over the middle a good bit more than he has in the past. How quickly he and the rest of the unit can push through the learning curve will help shape how the beginning of their season goes."

Eagles fans are also curious about Jalen Hurts's transition under Sean Mannion as OC

Hurts has been through more offensive coordinators than most quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. He is on his seventh play-caller entering his seventh season in the league.

This transition is different for several reasons, the biggest being that it is a drastic change from what Hurts is used to. Mannion is bringing a different style of offense to Philly, with more motion, a more spread-out attack, and different ways to attack the middle of the field.

It's also more pressure on Hurts to succeed after the criticism that McManus and Jeremy Fowler reported on ESPN earlier in the offseason. There were sources who said Hurts was not coachable and was changing plays in the huddle.

Unfortunately for Hurts, he has an image he needs to fix quickly, and the only way to do that is by succeeding in Mannion's offense. His three Pro Bowls, Super Bowl title, and Super Bowl MVP should be enough to convince people that Hurts can make that transition easily.

So far at OTAs, it's been a mixed bag for Hurts as he had a good first week, but last week was not as smooth as he threw an interception on his first pass of seven-on-seven. There will be a transitional period over the next few months, so Eagles fans will have to be patient.

Eagles fans believe in Hurts, and they should, as he has proven it time and time again in his career. This new offense will be good for him.
