This offseason has been more uncomfortable than ever for the Philadelphia Eagles, with so many questions surrounding the team.

A.J. Brown is the biggest one that commands every headline, but Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has dealt with other ones, like losing three key free agents and now having questions at multiple positions on the roster. Bleacher Report writer Alex Ballentine shared the one word Eagles fans really don't want to hear to describe their offseason: Precarious.

"Feels like Howie Roseman is trying to thread a tough needle. A one-year deal for Riq Woolen is a gamble worth taking, but Jalen Carter and A.J. Brown trades could be coming. They've already lost three solid starters on defense in free agency. It's hard to overcome that kind of turnover."

Are the Eagles in too deep a hole entering the 2026 season?

First off, Carter is not getting traded. That needs to be straightened out. The Eagles may be frustrated with his actions last year, but he is going to land a long-term contract this offseason, so the media has to let go of that insane narrative.

Secondly, the Eagles had a lot of turnover last year as well, and they still won 11 games and won the NFC East. Granted, they did not make the Super Bowl, but they saw awesome growth from key young players on the team, like Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Jalyx Hunt, and Jihaad Campbell, which gives hope for the future.

This offseason, they lost Jaelan Phillips, Reed Blankenship, Jahan Dotson, and Nabokoe Dean, among other big names. They hurt to lose, but they did get back Dallas Goedert on a one-year deal, which helps their offense.

One thing about Roseman over the last six years is that he has drafted some talented young players to step up. Players like Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, Mitchell, DeJean, Hunt, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Jordan Davis, Carter, and more.

Everyone is panicking because it has been a quiet offseason, but this is just like last year and it worked out pretty good.
