This offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles suffered their biggest loss so far when they lost defensive backs coach and pass game coordinator Christian Parker to the Dallas Cowboys to be their defensive coordinator.
Parker spent the last two seasons developing All-Pro cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell and was widely regarded as one of the best young coaches in the league. During his introductory press conference, Parker was asked whether he would target Eagles free agents to lure them to Dallas, and he gave an answer Philly fans won't particularly love.
"We'll see."
Christian Parker might try to poach Eagles free agents
One name that has been brought up as possiblity for the Cowboys is safety Reed Blankenship. Parker worked in the secondary in Philly and knows those guys well, so Blankenship would be able to come in and help Dallas's struggling secondary instantly.
The Eagles also have edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Nakobe Dean as the other big-name defensive players for Philly that could jump ship to the Cowboys. Neither guy has been linked to Dallas, as Phillips has been more closely linked to the Eagles, but Dean could be a real possibility, as many people believe he won't be back in Philadelphia for the 2026 season.
There's a real chance Dallas could also target cornerback Adoree' Jackson since he also worked closely with Parker in the secondary. That would be a move that might not upset as many Eagles fans, but it would still be a strong candidate to go to the Cowboys.

If Parker is about to execute his hinted plan and sign some former Eagles to the Cowboys' roster, it would make for a very long offseason for Philly and the fan base.
