Everyone has given their opinions on how the Philadelphia Eagles' offseason has gone so far through three weeks, but many are wondering how general manager Howie Roseman has felt about it.
The Eagles have signed names like cornerback Riq Woolen and wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown to help boost the roster, but lost key players in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, safety Reed Blankenship, and linebacker Nakobe Dean. Roseman was asked at the NFL league meetings how he felt the offseason was going so far.
"Incomplete, and I think it's hard to really judge how the offseason's gone until you have a draft, until you see what other opportunities are out there," Roseman said via The Athletic's Zach Berman. "So I would say right now, the upgrade is incomplete, for sure. There's a lot of things that we're continually trying to do, and obviously, you know, we don't play a game until September."
Howie Roseman shares his feelings on Eagles' offseason
The NFL Draft will be the ultimate deciding factor in how the Eagles' offseason goes. They have a lot of work to do to fill key positions, such as safety, wide receiver, edge rusher, and offensive tackle.
That's usually when Roseman is at his best, though, as he can execute any trade to work in the Eagles' favor while getting top-quality talent later than expected. No one has a better sense of how to attack the draft than Roseman, which is why he has been successful as a general manager over the last decade-plus.
Some believe the Eagles have had a quiet offseason so far because they aren't making the splash signings and trade everyone has been pushing them to do. Instead, the Eagles have focused on one-year deals, building depth on the roster, and re-signing or extending key players like tight end Dallas Goedert and defensive tackle Jordan Davis.

This isn't the end for Roseman and company, as they have a lot of work to do, but it's safe to assume that by the end of the offseason, many will be praising what he has done.
