Eagles' latest 30 visit is certain to be a sure-fire threat to guard position

The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of needs to address during the offseason, including parts of the offensive line.

So far this offseason, the Eagles have lost key depth players on the offensive line like Brett Toth and Matt Pryor, leaving the door wide open for multiple offensive linemen to be selected in the NFL Draft. Added on top of that, the Eagles almost lost starting left guard Landon Dickerson and right tackle Lane Johnson to retirement.

FanSided's Ryan Fowler reported that the Eagles have a 30 visit scheduled with Penn State offensive guard Olaivavega Ioane. It's easy to see why Ioane might get some attention, as he was a first-team All-American and first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2025, as he didn't allow a single sack during the season

This would be the second reported 30 visit for the Eagles as they hosted Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. on a visit as well. It's no surprise the Eagles are more focused on the offensive side of the ball to start the visits out.

Philly is looking to make their offense younger and cheaper in case they lose some of their veterans. The Eagles saw those effects on the defense, as three veteran starters left in free agency to sign elsewhere, including Jaelan Phillips, Reed Blankenship, and Nakobe Dean.

Ioane has been projected to go in the top 15, so it would be a bit of a surprise to see him drop all the way to 23 to the Eagles. The Eagles would have to make a trade to get at least in front of the Baltimore Ravens, who have been projected to select him with the 14th overall pick.

What would make Ioane a great addition is that it gives Philly the flexibility to do whatever they want at guard. Dickerson would still start as long as he can stay healthy, but Tyler Steen would be put on notice with Ioane joining the team.

Philly is going to leave many options on the table to try to get something done, but Ioane would be a steal if he falls to them. One thing is clear, though: the Eagles want youth on offense.
