Eagles' latest scheduled 30-visit will repair the damage Matt Pryor left behind

Good replacement for him.

The 2026 NFL Draft should be used for the Philadelphia Eagles to fix the offensive line concerns the team currently has.

It didn't help that Landon Dickerson and Lane Johnson had both considered retirement before deciding to come back. Things were made worse when Brett Toth and Matt Pryor left in free agency with other teams.

Now it appears that one of the many 30-visits the Eagles have will be at least an option to help with that problem. A source tells Eagles reporter Andrew DiCecco that a 30-visit is scheduled this week with Boston College offensive lineman Jude Bowry.

Eagles are meeting with Boston College lineman Jude Bowry

Bowry was a team captain on the Boston College Eagles last year, starting at left tackle. Pro Football Focus gave him an overall grade of 66, ranking 187th out of 632 tackles in the nation last season.

Looking at Bowry, he's got all the physical tools to be an offensive lineman in the NFL, but he will need some development. It may not be a case of him playing right away, as he doesn't need to, as a year off the bench would do him good.

At least Bowry would be seen as an upgrade at the tackle position compared to the shaky return Pryor had to Philly last year. Eagles fans remember all too well the lousy Week 3 performance against the Los Angeles Rams, where Pryor filled in for Lane Johnson and was benched for Fred Johnson because he was so bad.

The Eagles are in a better position if they can get Bowry and not have to worry about what Pryor did last year. Adding a young talent to that offensive line is only going to strengthen it in the future.
