The never-ending storyline that is A.J. Brown being traded from the Philadelphia Eagles will finally come to an end soon enough, but it is not coming nearly fast enough.

For months, there have been all kinds of narratives about where Brown will go and when he could be traded, with a lot of them being complete BS and some just being straight-up known by the fan base but repeated over and over again. It's really been going on for two years with the trade speculation, but former Eagles defender Ike Reese joins the fan base in just being done with the situation.

“I’m frustrated with the whole situation, but I’ve come to grips with it, and I’m ready to move on," Reese said via SportsRadio 94 WIP. "A.J. will be remembered as an Eagles great.”

Ike Reese is tired of the A.J. Brown situation, and so are Eagles fans

Brown is a beloved figure in Philadelphia and has done great work with the franchise over the last four years. He helped the Eagles make two Super Bowls and won one of them, as well as made two Pro Bowl appearances with four straight seasons of over 1,000 yards receiving.

The frustration with the situation stems from two years of Brown complaining about the Eagles' lack of targets and publicly sharing his problems with the team. It doesn't help that the media has covered this story to the ground, with something being talked about with Brown and the Eagles on a daily basis.

Philly is ready to move on to the future of the Eagles, which isn't as bright as some think, but it still has a ton of great young pieces. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts are on the hot seat, but general manager Howie Roseman has rolled on with so many great trades and young players being added to the team over the last six years.

Once the Eagles can officially move on from Brown, they can truly focus on the future and get this franchise in the right spot for another Super Bowl run, hopefully.
