Last season, the cornerback position for the Philadelphia Eagles was a mixed bag of great performances from All-Pros Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, but also featured major inconsistencies as well.

Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo battled for the CB2 job all year, and while Jackson mainly won the job, the two struggled throughout the season. Jackson ultimately ended the season as the starter and performed well in the final month. That doesn't mean the Eagles were happy with it, as he is still a free agent and was replaced by Riq Woolen.

Ringo is still on the team and might be on his last legs with the franchise, as the team could use the 2026 NFL Draft to find his replacement. NFL reporter Arye Pulli reported that the Eagles recently met with Washington cornerback Ephesians Prysock.

Last season, Prysock had 48 tackles and eight pass deflections with the Huskies, earning a Pro Football Focus coverage grade of 75.8. He is projected to be a Day 3 selection in the NFL Draft.

Standing at 6-foot-3, Pryscock could be the cornerback the Eagles were hoping to get out of Ringo with his height as well. What has saved Ringo is that he is one of Philly's top special teams players, but adding Pryscock to the team might give them a cheaper, more consistent option on defense and special teams.

Woolen is going to be CB2 easily with no competition, so Ringo is going to have to make the team through special teams. If Pryscock can outperform Ringo on defense and special teams, there's a strong change Ringo does not make the final 53-man roster.

Eagles seem to be punting on the idea of working the secondary early in the draft, but Pryscock could be a solid option late in the draft as a hidden gem.
