Well, well, well. It appears that another team is in the mix now to trade for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Originally, it was just the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots as the favorites to land Brown. Given the connection between Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and Brown from their time with the Tennessee Titans, it is believed the Patriots are at the top of Brown's list of teams.
According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, a new team is in the mix for Brown: the Los Angeles Chargers. Russini added that the Los Angeles Rams were also interested in Brown at one point, but have since moved on. She also noted that the Eagles are holding firm on the compensation required to trade Brown.

Los Angeles would actually make for an interesting spot for Brown, as it might work out well for him. The Chargers have Justin Herbert, who is among the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and have offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel to help a loaded offense.
It will come down to whether the Chargers are willing to part with two of their picks to make it happen. The Eagles are not backing down from the fact that they need a first and a second-round pick. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman could consider a first and a third-round pick as well if he is serious about offloading Brown.
This deal has to make sense for the Eagles, as the financial part is huge, with Philly taking a $20 million loss from Brown being traded before June 1. Everyone might think it's too steep a price, but after DJ Moore got traded to the Buffalo Bills for a second-round pick, a first-round pick is necessary for a three-time Pro Bowler.
