The playoffs have been painful to watch for Philadelphia Eagles fans because they feel their team should be in it.

Philly disappointed in the playoffs after a crushing 23-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card game. At least Eagles fans were able to see the Seattle Seahawks give the 49ers one of the worst losses in postseason history in the NFC Divisional Round, so that was fun.

With two Conference Championship games on the calendar, the Super Bowl opponents will be determined, and Eagles fans will be depressed to see it. Who should fans from Philly cheer for in each game?

AFC Championship Game: New England Patriots at Denver Broncos

This is a tough one to decide. On one hand, the Broncos gave the Eagles one of their toughest losses of the season after coming back from being down double-digits to beat Philly 21-17 back in Week 5. The flip side is that the Patriots seem to be returning to their glory days with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

As an Eagles fan, they can't forget what New England did to them in the Super Bowl in 2005, when the Patriots beat Philly 24-21. This seems tough on paper, but easy for the older Eagles fans who felt the pain of losing late in the playoffs year after year in the 2000s.

Cheer: Denver Broncos

NFC Championship Game: Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

The Eagles already played the Rams once this season and had a miraculous comeback after being down by 19 points to take them down 33-26 in Week 3 thanks to two fourth quarter field goal blocks by Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Los Angeles also got a bit of revenge against the Eagles after crushing the Chicago Bears' dreams with a 20-17 win in the NFC Divisional Round, so that was cool to see.

Seattle is a hard team not cheer for as they are on an improbable run to the conference title game led by Sam Darnold and company. Beating up on the 49ers two times in three weeks was great to see, so with all the Rams players have said about the Eagles and the fans in the past, it might be another easy one to pick on who Philly should back up in the game.

Cheer: Seattle Seahawks
