The 2025 season was a great one for Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, who put up terrific numbers in the process.
Despite not having an interception in the regular season, but two in the postseason, Mitchell had 17 pass deflections and allowed a completion percentage of 44.3% as well as a passer rating of 64.3. Those stats were good enough for him to be selected as an All-Pro and Pro Bowler.
Eagles fans are not going to see Mitchell at the Pro Bowl, though, as he has reportedly been replaced by Chicago Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright. No explanation has been given as to why Mitchell won't be a part of the Pro Bowl.
Did Quinyon Mitchell say no to being apart of the Pro Bowl?
There haven't been any reports of Mitchell being injured or having any issues early in the offseason. A lot of announcements were made with Pro Bowl alternates replacing players due to the Super Bowl.
Of course, that doesn't apply to Mitchell, but there must be a reason he decided to pass on it. The main reason could be that it is not worth going to the Pro Bowl to play flag football.
Since the changes to the Pro Bowl, the game's popularity has decreased because there is no longer tackle football. The Pro Bowl is now more competitive, with all games ending in a flag football game.
This might simply be a case of Mitchell not wanting to be a part of it and being focused on the offseason. Not many Eagles fans are going to argue against him for not wanting to be a part of the Pro Bowl.

There are still four more Eagles who might still be participating in the Pro Bowl, but that can change in a hurry.
