For being a proud University of Florida alum, Philadelphia Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman sure has a knack for nabbing rival Georgia Bulldog talent.

And with the remarkable impact several Bulldogs have made upon arrival, who can blame him? The past three years in Philadelphia have seen a steady influx of battle-tested defenders arriving from Athens, as the pipeline flowing directly from Georgia has flooded the Eagles' defense with playmakers who thrive in big spots.

The newest potential addition to an already illustrious list - headlined by the likes of Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, and Nolan Smith - could be Georgia cornerback Daylen Everette, who met with Eagles brass at the Senior Bowl.

Another Georgia player Eagles would love to have

Draft pundits project Everette slotting in anywhere from the late first round to the early few rounds in the 2026 NFL Draft. And the attributes the Norfolk, Virginia native brings to the table are both impressive and teeming with even greater untapped potential.

Checking in at six-foot-one and 190 pounds, Everette secured back-to-back Third-Team All-SEC accolades in 2024 and 2025 thanks to his penchant for big plays.

The IMG Product (five-star recruit, #3 ranked cornerback, #26 prospect overall) saved his most electrifying efforts for the biggest stages. Everette snagged two interceptions and notched a sack against Texas in the SEC Championship game in 2024, earning MVP honors in the process. He would go on to nab another pick in the 2025 SEC title tilt versus Alabama for good measure.

Everette's combination of size, speed (4.34 40 time), and playmaking ability could make the three-year Georgia starter the missing link in what would be a true power trio at corner with Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

Perhaps a situation similar to DeJean's plays out for Roseman and the team to ponder in this coming draft. Sure, going offensive line in the first round, or tight end amid Dallas Goedert's potential exit, makes perfect sense. Depending on what the future holds with A.J. Brown, wideout might be the move, too.

But a sudden draft day jump into the early second, similar to what was done for DeJean, could welcome yet another tantalizing Georgia talent into the fold for Philadelphia.
