All the offseason attention early on is on Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown and whether he will be traded or stay with the team for the 2026 campaign.
All indications have been that Brown is ready to move on from the team after repeatedly asking to be traded during the 2025 season, but this has been ongoing since before the Super Bowl win in 2024. That isn't stopping others from making their recruiting pitches for him to join their teams.
While speaking on Up & Adams, host Kay Adams asked Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry about the rumors about Brown being traded to his team. Henry was all about that idea and supported it.
"We would gladly love to have him," Henry said. "A.J. is a dog. I played with A.J. in Tennessee, so you know. I like playing with guys who have dog mentalities, so we would love A.J. Come on over."
"Please, please, A.J., come to Baltimore. Let's go get this ring. You got one in Philly. Come to Baltimore."
Derrick Henry makes his case for A.J. Brown to leave Eagles
Henry and Brown are very familiar with each other, as the two played with each other for three seasons with the Titans. They both were on a Titans team that leaned on them to make three straight playoff appearances.
Philly would not be opposed to making a trade with the Ravens, as that would be a good spot for Brown, and they have decent draft picks to work with. It'll all come down to the draft capital and whether the Ravens are willing to deal a first-round pick to the Eagles for Brown.
A case could be made for why Brown is worth a first-round pick in a trade. He's been selected to the Pro Bowl three times, and at 28 years old, he is still in the prime of his NFL career.

That first-round price might be too high for the Ravens, but the Eagles are hoping that if they are going to move on from Brown, and that's a big if, they want to be compensated correctly for him.
