Nothing might be bigger for the Philadelphia Eagles than figuring out how to fix the depth problems on the offensive line and using the 2026 NFL Draft to do so.

In the offseason, the Eagles lost Brett Toth and Matt Pryor on the bench, leaving them to address it in the draft. Many believe that a first-round pick could be used on a lineman, but there is a chance Philly could hold off until Day 2 or 3 to pick one or select a second one to really build the depth up.

Saints Wire reporter Arye Pulli reported that the Eagles were among the teams that held a virtual meeting with Missouri offensive lineman Keagen Trost. Last year with the Tigers, Trost was a first-team All-American and was the number one graded offensive tackle in the nation by Pro Football Focus with 92.4. He only allowed six pressures, two quarterback hits, and one sack in 407 pass blocking snaps.

Trost is projected to land in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, leaving the Eagles another great option on the offensive line. Last year, many got to see Trost dominate defensive linemen as one of the best pass blockers in the country.

The good thing for the Eagles is that there is no rush to have any of the linemen they draft play right away. They can sit on the bench for a year or two to learn before being thrown onto the field as starters, making Trost a perfect candidate to sit behind right tackle Lane Johnson and learn from him at least through the 2026 season.

There's a strong chance the Eagles select two or more offensive linemen, but Trost could end up being the hidden gem of the draft despite being the best at his position in 2025.
